How do you get honey in the new Story of Seasons: Grand Bazaar? This is a question many players are currently asking, especially when they need honey for a gift, a request, or a recipe. In this guide, I’ll walk you through step by step how to attract bees and harvest honey on your own.

    Unlock the Beekeeping Area

Before you can start collecting honey, you first need to unlock the beekeeping area. Two conditions must be met: you must reach Bazaar Level 3, and you need to unlock Arata’s stall. The stall is unlocked automatically through the quest “Hard Work”, in which you are asked to deliver a high-quality dish to Arata. On the following Saturday, you can talk to him at the bazaar and purchase the beekeeping area for 10,000 gold.

How to Get Honey in Grand Bazaar

According to the area description, the trees in the northeastern part of the mountains are cleared to make space for beekeeping. After two days, you can return to the mountains and find the beehive in the northeastern section.

For the bees to begin producing honey, they need nectar. You provide this by planting flowers in the new area. It’s important to note that these must be fully grown flowers. This means you should not plant flower seeds. Instead, harvest existing flowers with your sickle and then plant them in the beekeeping area.

After a few days, the flowers will be fully established and you’ll see bees buzzing around. From that point on, honey will be produced gradually, and you can collect it regularly from the beekeeping area. You can process the honey, give it as a gift, or sell it. A standard honeycomb sells for 150 gold, and with a bit of luck, you may even obtain a royal honeycomb worth 800 gold.

    Place Windbreaks!

Just like with your regular fields, it’s a good idea to place windbreaks around the flowers in this area as well. These protect your flower beds from hurricanes and strong winds. You can also purchase the mushroom log for mushroom cultivation from Arata if you want to expand your production even further.
